The Littleleaf Linden (Tilia cordata) is a great selection for lawns, street, or shade tree. It is distinctly pyramidal in youth becoming more rounded with age. Densely branched and foliaged, it makes an ideal landscape tree. The 1 1/2 – 3 inch long dark green leaves turn yellow in fall. Yellowish fragrant flowers occur in June. Tolerates heavy pruning and can be grown as a hedge.

Soil Requirements
