Green Giant Arborvitae (Thuja standishii x plicata ‘green giant’) is one of the fast growing coniferous evergreen trees available. It has become extremely popular in recent years due to its fast growth rate, resistance to many common pest and disease, and it natural resistance to deer browsing. A 1998 Pennsylvania Horticultural Society Gold Medal Plant Award winner, the Green Giant Arborvitae is an exceptional choice as a landscape plant. We recommend plant the Green Giant on 5 – 10 foot centers to create and optimally grown evergreen screen.
