Nellie Stevens Holly, Ilex ‘Nellie R. Stevens’, is probably the most common landscape Holly in use today. A great plant for hedging of screening. Small flowers open in late March early April bright red fruits ripen in the fall. Adaptable to any soil except wet.

Soil Requirements
- Grow well in most soils but does best in organically rich, acidic, medium moisture, well-drained soils in full sun to part shade. This plant has better heat tolerance than many of the hollies.
